Dr. Thomas Gawron’s career encompasses 30 years in executive roles in renowned DAX and MDAX companies. As managing director and Chief Transformation Officer of a leading IT service provider, he successfully oversaw and implemented the digital transformation process. One key lesson learned from his career: without a fundamental change in leadership methods, the transformation would have failed.
In his latest publications “The Digital Executive” and “The Boss is the Problem” (both published by Duncker & Humblot), he devised a practical approach – the MAESTRO leadership approach – to developing leadership skills in digital transformation, an approach which is very popular with practitioners. A graduate in business studies and a public administration specialist, Thomas has been a member of the Liebich & Partner Management and HR Consulting team since 2022, as a management consultant and an expert in the digital transformation of companies, and the development of executives and leaders.
